6% decrease in Zanjan handmade carpet exports
Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade Development and Trade Affairs of Zanjan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization said: the amount of export of handmade carpets with production origin in the province has decreased by 6% over the previous year compared to the previous year.
Amir Ali Mosayebi stated: Carpet is one of the most important products in Iran and consequently in Zanjan province, which has a very special history and position in this regard. So that the export of this product is also booming, but unfortunately, we are facing problems in this direction, which will have a great impact on the amount of exports of this product.
He added: Among the problems we face in connection with the export of carpets, we can mention the non-operation of the terminal for the export of handmade carpets in the province and the lack of identification markets for exports and problems such as some sanctions.
Regarding the export of handmade carpets in the province, Mosayebi said: the amount of exports of handmade carpets with production origin in Zanjan province last year was 10 billion and 838 million dollars, which is a decrease of about six percent compared to 1393, which is a decrease. It has several factors.
Referring to the new carpet designs designed in the province, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade Development and Trade Affairs of Zanjan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization continued: The designs were delivered, and after review by experts and experts, and their comments on the maps designed since June of this year, a number of samples are woven from each map, and these new maps can have a good market for sale.
Regarding the welcome of the new map, he reminded: Currently, the newly designed maps have not been presented to the market, and this will be done after registering the designs and finishing the texture of the carpet samples, and based on the observations, there are always innovations and designs. The new ones were well received.
