Mohammad Jafar Azmaei stated that in the first 10 months of this year, 16,000 carpet weaving cards have been issued in the province in the field of hand-woven carpets by the carpet unions and carpet cooperatives. have been introduced.

He continued: in the first 10 months of this year, 21,000 weavers have been introduced to Social Security to benefit from the benefits of carpet weaving insurance.

He also announced the issuance of 29 decentralized licenses with centralized management of handmade carpets in the province.

Azmaei further referred to the third festival of selling handmade carpets in the province and said: this festival was held in the province from February 13 to March 13.

He explained: The third festival of East Azerbaijan hand-woven carpet sales will be held simultaneously with other provinces of the country with the slogan every store is an exhibition by the carpet department of the Industry, Mining and Trade Organization.
