The Deputy Minister of Traditional Arts and Crafts of Markazi Province announced the export of more than $ 46,000 worth of handicrafts from the province to abroad.
Qassem Kazemi, referring to the successful performance of Markazi province since the beginning of 1998 in the field of handicrafts, said: This year, the amount of handicraft exports in Markazi province has been over 46 thousand and 400 dollars.
He pointed out that the export of handicrafts from Markazi province is done in the form of suitcases, adding: the exported items include metal enamel, giweh, wooden volumes (sculpture), engraving (metalworking), pottery and wooden works, which is about 8 The country of the world has been exported.
Kazemi mentioned the destinations of handicrafts exported to Markazi province as Europe and Asia and countries such as England, Germany, France, Italy, Greece, Iraq, Turkey, India and Canada and said: in addition to foreign countries, the handicrafts of the province to provinces such as Kermanshah, Lorestan, Shiraz and Tehran are also sent.
He added: “Last year, $ 36,000 worth of handicrafts were exported from Markazi province, which has increased by 10% in this area, considering the amount of exports this year.
