Recipe for Shiraz onion water in Iran
This delicious and fragrant food called onion juice is a local and traditional food in Shiraz, Iran, which is cooked as follows, and follow the cooking article of Koolleh magazine in the continuation of this article.
INGREDIENTS :
- Onion = 3 pcs
- Oil = 2 soupspons
- Yogurt = 1 cup
- Eggs = 4 pcs
- Fenugreek (fresh and sauteed) = 1 tablespoon
- Mint (dry) = 1 tablespoon
- Salt = as needed
- Turmeric = as needed
INSTRUCTION :
First, slice the onions in a suitable dish and fry them in hot oil.
When the onions are golden, add the turmeric.
Then add the vegetables, fry a little and add some water and salt to bring to a boil.
In a bowl, beat the eggs and yogurt and mix well, and if streaks of yogurt are visible, beat it with an electric mixer until smooth and then add it to the onion juice until it is completely incorporated.
Then we serve it in a serving dish with Sangak bread and pickles.
Hints:
1- It is better to pour hot mint and onion on this food.
2- If you can, stir this food until it is well prepared so that it does not fight.
