Supply of Astara handicrafts by the sea
The head of the Astara Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Agency announced the establishment of an exhibition of handicrafts produced by Astara artists in sea sanitation projects.
Pardel Amirinejad pointed out: These products have been presented in the form of exhibitions in cooperation with the Revolutionary Guards of Astara district in two projects of Safir Omid and Sadaf, and their supply will continue until the end of the summer season.
He explained about the goods offered in the booths of this exhibition: local clothes, all kinds of kilims, bags, dolls, wood mosaics, tile mosaics and wooden crafts are the priority of the products offered in these places.
Amirinejad added: In addition to the two mentioned exhibitions, a special exhibition of handicrafts has been established at the entrance of Astara city from Rasht side, in which the environment, road and urban planning department and Astara-Talesh road police have had the necessary cooperation.
Amiri Nejad pointed to the support of artists active in the production of handicrafts by benefiting from the benefits of the roof plan and added: This plan has been implemented in order to provide raw materials and purchase manufactured products.
He specified: So far, 5 people in Astara city have announced their readiness to implement this project, of which only one person has succeeded in receiving 300 million Rials facility from Imam Reza (AS) Mehr Fund and 4 others are in the process of confirming the facility.
The head of the Astara Cultural Heritage Agency continued: The activities of the other four applicants in this regard are established using their personal and small capital, but by paying facilities, it is possible to invest and buy more products.
The head of Astara Cultural Heritage Agency spoke about the design, printing and distribution of brochures introducing the historical, tourist and tourism places and attractions of the city and said: Every year, with the arrival of Nowruz and summer holidays, a large number of brochures to introduce the tourist places of the city along with the map The city and the roads are distributed among guests and travelers, and this year, as in previous years, these brochures are printed and ready for distribution.
The border city and port of Astara with a population of more than 86,000 people is located in the west of Gilan province, 186 km from Rasht and adjacent to Ardabil province and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
This city has been among the top 20 tourist cities in the country in recent years by attracting a large number of domestic and foreign guests along with cities such as Isfahan, Shiraz, Mashhad, Qom and Ramsar.
