10% decrease in pistachio exports compared to last year

Exports of fresh or dried pistachios in Iran during the first four months of this year compared to the same period last year in terms of weight and value decreased by 10 percent.

During this period, Iran’s exports of fresh or dried pistachios were more than 19,000 tons worth more than $ 152 million, which was 0.1 percent of the weight and 1.97 percent of the total value of Iran’s non-oil exports.

Accordingly, Iran’s export of fresh or dried pistachios in the first four months of 2009 was more than 170 million dollars. That was the time.

Accordingly, according to the country’s customs, the export of fresh or dried pistachios to Iran, which during the first four months of this year compared to the same period in terms of weight and value decreased by 10.58 and 10.21 percent, respectively.
