The official said that more than 90% of the purchased green tea leaves are first class, noting that the green tea leaves are harvested in three stages: spring, summer and autumn.

He stated: Lahijan city produces 23% of the country’s tea with 4,000 hectares of tea gardens and 9,000 tea families.
