Referring to the annual harvest of 70,000 tons of dates in the Bam Valley, he noted: 20% of these dates are exported to Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Zangi added: The date harvest will start in late August in Bam city and will continue until the end of October.

Announcing that the fall and drying of dates has already started in Fahraj city, he said: it is possible that 30% of the dates in Bam city will also fall and dry.
