2000 tons of pistachios are produced annually in Buinzahra city

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Buin Zahra city said: 70,000 potted seedlings of subsidized pistachios will be distributed among the users of this city.
Engineer Morteza Shabannejad added: This number of subsidized seedlings will be planted on 140 hectares of pistachio orchards in Buin Zahra city.
He said that the purpose of distributing these seedlings is to develop the pistachio orchard as well as to improve the old orchards and said: 50% of the cost of the seedlings will be paid by the government as a subsidy and 50% by the users.
Shabannejad said: Currently, there are 3,700 hectares of pistachio orchards in Buin Zahra city, of which 1,900 hectares are fertile and 1,800 hectares are seedlings.
The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Buin Zahra city estimated the average pistachio harvest in this city as one ton per hectare and said: more than two thousand tons of pistachio products are produced annually in this city.
