21% of Khorasan pistachio cultivation area is located in Bardaskan
The director of Jihad Keshavarzi Bardaskan said: this city, with 21% of the area under pistachio cultivation in Khorasan province, has the second place of production.
Engineer Ahmad Fakhr Gholami stated: in the last 3 years, pistachio work was the provincial sample of this city and last year, provincial sample pistachio was able to harvest 10 tons and 660 kg of dried pistachios per hectare.
He added: Bardaskan city currently has 10 terminals for recording and processing pistachios and is continuously controlled by an expert team for observing hygienic points in the terminals.
The director of Jihad-e-Agriculture of Bardaskan said: in order to support pistachio farmers and implement the plan to improve the quality of export products, 40 two-color tents and 200 baskets for pistachios have been distributed among pistachio farmers.
He also said: In the discussion of pistachio product, 12,000 exploiters are each working with production, processing, transportation and marketing.
It is worth mentioning that pistachio harvest in Bardaskan city will start on September 6 and will continue until the end of October.
