27 villages of Rasht city are waiting for the reduction of rice production
The director of Rasht Agricultural Jihad said: the studies of 27 villages of Rasht city for equipping and renovating paddy lands, which will reduce the suffering of rice production, have been completed.
Masoud Asadiparvar, stating that mechanization has very good positive outputs for more rice production, called the development of mechanization one of the important programs of Rasht Agricultural Jihad and said: This year, a loan of 14 billion Tomans has been allocated for farmers to improve mechanization in Rasht.
He stated that at present there is a good situation in terms of mechanized rice production in Rasht, adding: This year we had mechanized cultivation in 73% of the lands of Rasht city.
Asadiparvar stated: The plan to equip and renovate paddy lands is effective in accelerating and developing the mechanization of rice production, and out of 62,000 hectares of paddy lands in Rasht, which is the largest rice-producing city in the country, 13,000 hectares have been equipped and renovated so far.
The director of Rasht Agricultural Jihad, pointing out that the renovation studies of some paddy fields in the villages of Rasht city, which reduces the suffering of rice production, have been completed, said: Currently, a study plan has been done for another 4,000 hectares of paddy fields in this city. This will enable the paddy fields of 27 other villages to be equipped and renovated.
He added: This equipment and renovation of Gilan villages has a great impact on increasing the income of rural households, because recently the labor cost for workers in Rasht paddy fields has even reached 400,000 Tomans in some cases, and despite this high cost, it is economically viable for paddy farmers. To move towards mechanized development.
Asadiparvar continued: From 1392 onwards, a loan of 20 billion Tomans was given to farmers annually to purchase agricultural machinery, and this caused a part of the backwardness of mechanization development in Rasht city to be compensated.
He said: Mechanized production will definitely increase next year and will be more than this year because the conditions for achieving these goals have been provided.
