300 hectares of lands in Rashtkhar city were planted with onions per year

A member of Rashtkhar agricultural experts stated that the area under onions cultivation in Rashtkhar city is 300 hectares and added: The total production of last year was more than 9,000 tons, which has been sent to the consumer market.
Seyyed Hassan Hosseini said: This year, onions cultivation is increasing in most rural areas of Rashtkhar city and is welcomed by the farmers of this city.
He pointed out: The cultivation of this product should be done in accordance with the needs of the community so that farmers do not face many problems during harvest and supply.
He demanded to inform the farmers about the consequences of the improper cultivation of onions and added: We must take action in this regard through the agricultural jihad in the city.
A member of Rashtkhar agricultural experts also informed about the uncontrolled cultivation of cotton in this city and said: the stagnation of the price of cotton product, the lack of guaranteed purchase of this product and the import of cotton in the harvest season from abroad are the most important problems of cotton farmers and farmers.
He also asked the officials of agriculture and rural cooperatives of Rashtkhar city to take action to reduce the decline of farmers’ atmosphere in guaranteed purchase.
