35% reduction in grape harvest from Khondab vineyards
The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Khondab city announced a 30 to 35 percent reduction in the yield of grape vineyards in this city.
Ali Sharifi stated: Grape harvest in Khondab city will start on September 6 and will continue until October 11.
He added: the area under grape cultivation in Khondab city is about five thousand and 700 hectares, of which three thousand and 700 hectares are fertile and two thousand hectares are newly built gardens that have not yet borne fruit.
Sharifi, while emphasizing the 30 to 35 percent reduction in the yield of vineyards in this city, said: Due to the frost in early spring, the amount of grape harvest has decreased compared to last year.
In the end, the director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Khondab city mentioned the average yield of grape harvest at the highest level of 95 tons per hectare and at the lowest level of 20 to 25 tons per hectare.
