He continued: Efforts to improve the situation of the date market is an important issue that all activists in the field of date production and date-related industries pay attention to and follow up and make efforts in this regard.

The representative of the date branch in the industrial towns of Bushehr province pointed out: Utilizing the existing potentials and tools is one of the factors that activists in the field of dates should pay basic attention to.

Roziataleb stated: Diversity in the packaging of dates produced by farmers in the province and preventing the sale of raw dates produced in the province is one of the issues that should be seriously considered.

He added that there is currently no mandatory governor for dates produced in Bushehr province, adding: defining and creating the necessary standards in the date market will be an effective issue in improving the situation of the date market in Bushehr province.

The official acknowledged: Part of the dates produced in the province will be given to traditional date packaging units, so we should pay more attention to these units.

The representative of the date branch in the industrial towns of Bushehr province stated: Lack of health supervision over traditional date packing units is one of the issues we are facing at the moment.

Roziatalab said: Guaranteed purchase of dates is one of the issues that farmers pay attention to every year and study the issues around this issue with special care and sensitivity.

He added: In the current situation, about 500 billion rials are needed to buy guaranteed dates produced by farmers in Bushehr province, but due to the government’s contractionary budget, it is not possible to achieve that.

The representative of the date branch in the industrial towns of Bushehr province, referring to the provision of date purchase facilities to date packing units, said: In order to provide facilities to date packing units, we have had consultations with the Mehr Imam Reza (AS) Fund in Bushehr province.

Roziatalab stated: According to the available information this year, the amount of dates produced in Bushehr province has increased by 40%, but the number of date pests has also increased by the same amount.
