40% of the grape orchards of Titkanlu County dried up
A member of the Islamic Council of Titkanlu said 40 percent of the city’s grape gardens have dried up.
Referring to the hot weather this summer and the lack of water in the city, Majid Mohammadi said:
The lack of water and hot weather has caused the grape vineyards of this city to dry up and the lack of production to be supplied.
He pointed out:
The Islamic Council of Titkanlu city has requested financial credit in order to financially support gardeners from the governorate and the Jihad Keshavarzi administration.
Mohammadi pointed out that the city of Titkanlu is a single product and gardeners
in the city need support to prevent financial losses and problems caused by it, adding:
Ignoring this issue will force gardeners to migrate.
He said:
Due to the weather problems, the Agricultural Jihad Office has not visited the grape vineyards of this city.
