40% reduction in pistachio exports

The amount of Tehran pistachio exports in December compared to the previous month, while the price of this product has grown, has decreased.
According to the number of certificates of origin issued by the Tehran Chamber of Commerce in December this year, the amount of fresh and dried pistachios exported by Tehran traders during this month was more than 66 million dollars, which was 109 million dollars in November this year.
Comparison of these figures shows a 40% decrease in pistachio exports from Tehran during this period, which in terms of weight has been the same reduction.
The weight of pistachio exports from Tehran during December was more than 9 thousand tons, while this amount was reported more than 15 thousand tons in the previous month.
This decrease in weight and value of pistachio exports was while the price of this export product has increased during December compared to November.
Accordingly, while the average value of each ton of pistachios in November of this year was 7,187 dollars, this amount was reported in December of this year as 7,297 dollars.
Also, according to the number of certificates of origin issued by the Tehran Chamber of Commerce in December of this year, during this month, the most exports of Tehranians were three products of stone (iron peroxide iron concentrate), fresh and dried pistachios and methanol.
The amount of stone export (ash perite iron concentrate) of Tehran traders in December of this year was $ 84 million with an average value of $ 95 per ton.
After this product and pistachio, the third major export commodity of Tehran traders in December is methanol (methyl alcohol) which has been exported in the amount of $ 65 million of this product with an average price of $ 311 per ton.
During this period, the fourth major export commodity of Tehran merchants is polyethylene with a density of 94, during which $ 44 million of this product has been exported at an average price of $ 1,098 per ton.
The fifth and sixth major export goods of Tehran merchants in December of this year were oil bitumen and oil (oil containing 70% by weight of minerals), respectively, with an average price of $ 28 million and a price of $ 481 and $ 25 million, respectively. An average of $ 748 has been issued.
Carpet-flooring-wool-soft hair-animals is also the seventh major export product of Tehranians during this period, from which $ 21 million has been exported with an average price of $ 49,876 per ton.
The eighth, ninth and tenth major exports of the province in December this year were ethylene glycol (ethane diol) with $ 18 million in exports, dried grapes (raisins) with $ 16 million in exports and mixed benzene and naphthalene alcohols, respectively. With $ 14 million in exports.
The average value of each ton of these goods was 861, two thousand 430 and one thousand 394 dollars, respectively.
