Director of Boroujerd Agricultural Jihad said: walnut production in this city will increase by 43%.
Mahmoud Bakhtiari of Lorestan region added: walnut harvest has started from 2,146 hectares of fertile walnut orchards in the city.
He stated: It is predicted that 2,575 tons of this product will be harvested in the city, which will increase by 43% compared to last year’s production.
The director of Boroujerd Agricultural Jihad stated: This increase in production has been due to the favorable weather conditions in the current crop year and the application of technical advice from horticultural experts and plant protection by gardeners, as well as increasing the levels of fertile orchards.
