62% increase in grape production in Boroujerd

Director of Boroujerd Jihad-e-Agriculture said: Grape production in the city has increased by 62%.
Mahmoud Bakhtiari added: The grape harvest has started from the level of 1,817 hectares of fertile orchards in Boroujerd city.
He stated: 14 thousand and 536 tons of grapes are expected to be harvested from the orchards of the city.
The director of Boroujerd Agricultural Jihad stated: Compared to last year’s production, we will have a 62% increase in production.
Bakhtiari said that the reason for this increase in production was the favorable weather conditions in the current crop year and the application of technical advice from horticultural experts and plant protection by gardeners and increasing the levels of fertile orchards.
