8% growth in Fars handicraft exports

The Deputy Minister of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts of Fars Province announced an 8% increase in the volume of exports of handicrafts in Fars Province during the first half of this year compared to the same period last year.
Heidar Ali Zahediannejad said:
According to customs statistics, in the first half of this year, more than 3 million and 264 thousand dollars of handicrafts have been exported from Fars province.
Zahedian‌nejad pointed out: In the first 6 months of last year, $ 3,301,119 handicrafts were exported from Fars province.
The deputy of handicrafts and traditional arts of Fars province said: the handicraft products of this province have been mostly exported to the countries of the Persian Gulf and Europe.
Zahediannejad added:
The handicrafts produced in Fars province, which are on the export list, mostly included carpets, gabbehs, kilims, inlays, inlays and mats.
