Making the world’s largest copper tray in Zanjan
Yahya Rahmati, a Zanjani craftsman, added: The largest copper tray in the world, 3 meters long and 1.32 meters wide, was built by order of Amir, one of the countries in the Persian Gulf region in Zanjan.
He continued: Akbar Ghezelbash, the maker of this tray, has said that no tray of this size has ever been made with copper materials in the world. Also, in order to make this order, 4 8 mm diameter copper sheets were used, which were made for the first time with rice welding.
The official said that the excavation projects carried out on this large tray were mental and that its construction took 38 days.
According to this Zanjani craftsman, 7 orders of this tray will be made in three different dimensions: 132 cm by 3 m, 112 cm by 262 cm and 100 cm by 242 cm. This large tray weighs 285 kg without a handle and 335 kg with a handle.
Rice welding on copper sheet with a lower thickness is common, but with a thickness of 8 mm, it has been done for the first time in Zanjan.
