Welcome to copper dish in the last 7 years
Mohammad Javad Mozaffari, a Zanjan copper artist, said: In this booth of the exhibition, we sell products such as pots, pots, pans, decorative samovars, comedians, midwives and knives of Zanjan. Along with the furniture exhibition, many people also welcome handicrafts.
He continued: The pans are priced from 30,000 to 150,000 tomans and are among the thick and non-stick products. The pots are priced from 35 to 170 thousand tomans, but the price of the products depends on their weight. For example, the heavier the copper used in the pot and pot, the higher the price.
He added: Now, information about the properties of using copper dish has led people to buy more of these dish and use them in the kitchen, so that in the last 7 years, the sale of copper products has flourished more than in previous years.
Mozaffari, who inherited the art of copper handicrafts from his father, said: Copper is now priced from 50,000 tomans per kilogram to 70,000 tomans. Most copper dish are handmade and the more work is done on them, the more valuable they are. However, some press machines now produce copper dish that are very different from handicrafts. To detect this difference, we tell customers to pay attention to the welding line of the dishes or the place of the hammers. Because when the dishes are pressed by the machines, they can no longer see the place of the press in it. On the other hand, the time it takes for craftsmen to make a copper pot is equal to the 12 pots that the machine produces. Because preparing a pot takes about 4 days for the dish to be hammered by the artist, it is then handed over to the tin maker and then to other workshops to complete.
Mozaffari, who entered the field of copper handicrafts 6 years ago, said: Currently, there are about 11 people working in Mozaffari’s handicraft workshop in Zanjan, and the other two people usually sell and sell handicrafts in exhibitions. Two other members of my family accompany them in the production of copper dish , all of which produce 300 kilograms of copper handicrafts a day. Of course, it depends on the customer’s demand, but sometimes 200 to 300 pots may be produced in one day. Now, in this exhibition, in addition to our own products, we also sell other products, including walnut crushers, Zanjan knives, copper decorative items, and so on.
The handicraft activist said: Before using any kind of copper dish , you should grease the dish with a little liquid oil and pour a little milk into it and put it on the stove so that the milk boils. After that, the dish should be used and it does not need to be whitened until it is fried inside.
