Roin village is located 26 km north of Esfarayen city and 52 km southeast of Bojnourd city and 7 km from Esfarayen road to Bojnourd, in one of the valleys of the southern slope of Aladagh called Royin valley.
Roin village as a traditional textile village is one of the honors of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of North Khorasan and the traditional traditional textile method in this village has been considered by domestic and foreign societies in recent years.
Recreational facilities as well as accommodation for the well-being of tourists, pilgrims and travelers in this area have been provided more and more and welcome tourists and travelers on Nowruz.
Due to its stepped shape, this village is also known as the village of Masouleh Royin and is one of the most pleasant climates and one of the most famous tourist attractions in Esfarayen.
The winding alleys, the old texture of the houses and the slope of the alley to the village alley, the high altitudes, the permanent rivers and the old sycamore trees make this Masouleh village unique.
Due to the type of architecture, unique historical texture, prosperity of handicrafts and its good climate, Rokan Esfarayen steppe village has been registered in the list of national monuments and has been determined as a tourist destination village, which dates back to the 7th and 8th centuries. Handicrafts
One of the most common industries in the historic village of Rouin has been tandoori and kondi-making. The spread of industrial bakeries in the industry is also being forgotten, another handicraft of this village is the tent weaving industry, which is still going on both manually (traditionally) and industrially.
This village is considered as the origin of Chador Shab weaving. In 2010, it was recognized as the first traditional textile village in the country and was selected as the national pilot. In this village, 300 tent weaving machines are engaged in the production of night tent cloth, towels and shawls, which are owned by the Cultural Heritage and Handicrafts Organization of Iran.

Iran Textile Village
Currently, 350 to 400 people living in the village of Ruyin are directly involved in the production and sale of yarn, dyeing and weaving tent tents, and the traditional Rowin Mehr weaving or textile tent has received UNESCO authenticity. Annually, more than 150,000 square meters of textile products are produced in this village.
