carpet weaving
One of the most important handicrafts in Khorasan province is carpet weaving. The history of carpet weaving in this province can be divided into two distinct periods:
– Safavid period, which carpets of this period often have Herati roles with azure background or lacquer garlic and with a narrow border in light yellow color.
