He said that one of the important programs of the General Administration in the field of handicrafts is to create production, employment and training centers for handicrafts in the cities and villages of Hormozgan, he continued: During the last year, 4 centers for production, employment and training of handicrafts in Gahkam, Brentin villages. Gardens and Rudbar have been set up, with 28 centers currently operating in the province.
The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Hormozgan added regarding the identification of handicraft craftsmen: Every year, tests are held in the province to identify handicraft craftsmen, through which 2309 craftsmen have been identified and ID cards have been identified. Handicrafts have been exported to them, as well as 478 licenses for individual and workshop workshops in the province.
Regarding the export of handicrafts, Boroumand said: The value of handicraft exports last year was 6 million dollars officially and luggage, which was mostly exported to the Persian Gulf countries and Turkey. Mat is a derivative of wood and kilim.

Regarding the national registration of cities and villages of handicrafts, Boroumand said: Last year, the Deputy Minister of Handicrafts, Bandar Lengeh, was registered as the national city of Glabton embroidery, which was selected and introduced as a national city of Glabtonon embroidery. Handicrafts, culture and art of this region were removed.
There are about 64,000 handicraft craftsmen in Hormozgan, more than 98% of whom are women, and most of them work in the fields of embroidery, embroidery, kilim weaving, mat weaving, marine handicrafts, pottery, etc.
