Seyed Musa Khademi, during his visit to the National Exhibition of Handicrafts and Visual and Traditional Arts in Yasuj, stated: The General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of the province should make the establishment of permanent markets a priority in its programs in this sector.

He said: If it is necessary to issue some licenses or provide land and other necessary infrastructure, the responsible agencies are obliged to cooperate to remove the existing obstacles in this field.

He considered Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Provinces to be full of various capacities in different sectors for prosperity and investment and added: the existence of handicrafts, especially in rural and nomadic areas, has been a symbol of the identity of the people of this land for a long time.

Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad governors also stressed the need to revive some obsolete handicrafts by holding training courses in the province.

During the visit, Khademi called for attention and provision of essential needs and desirable services to artists and provinces participating in this national exhibition of handicrafts in the center of the province.

Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, director general of cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism, said: Introducing the province’s artistic capacities more than before, exchanging experiences and thoughts of artists from all over the country and using artistic talents in other regions are the most important goals of this exhibition.

Mahmoud Bagheri stated: This exhibition has been opened since September 12 in the form of 50 booths with the presence of more than 100 handicraft artists from 18 provinces of the country.

He stated: Those who are interested in handicrafts and traditional arts can visit this exhibition every day from 16:00 to 22:00 until the end of Friday this week.

He added: The works in this exhibition are in the fields of mat weaving, carp weaving, sea shells, traditional jewelry, local clothes, inlay work, engraving, scratching on glass, pottery, ceramics and leather and wood products.

Bagheri includes 18 provinces participating in the exhibition, including Khuzestan, Bushehr, Hormozgan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Lorestan, Tehran, Khorasan Razavi, Fars, Kerman, Isfahan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Hamedan, Zanjan, Qazvin, and Qom provinces. And Gilan announced.

He said the revival of obsolete disciplines, the construction of handicraft houses, the establishment of an export market, weaving, standardization and branding were among the main priorities for the development of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad handicrafts.
