The Vice President of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce said: Every industry has a life cycle and ends one day, and the hand-woven carpet industry is going through its declining days all over the world.

Pedram Soltani in the ceremony of honoring the selected exporters of South Khorasan stated: The export situation in the past few years has been such that the export atmosphere has been accompanied by a combination of uncertainty and inability.

He pointed out that the uncertainty resulting from the instability in the economic policies of the foreign exchange, monetary and financial budgets, added: On the other hand, exporters have not been able to compete and the necessary knowledge of exports.

The Vice President of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce reminded: Exporters are those who live and serve in Iran because export is a process that is partly done by an exporter.

Soltani stated that exporting is a look to the future and identifying opportunities and planning for the future, adding: Exports meet the needs of the buyer and the path is to find opportunities.

We have imported many things from other countries, but we have not brought its culture, and these days in the global arena of exports, there is competition in industry, he said.

The Vice President of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce said: South Khorasan Province’s neighborhood with Afghanistan is an opportunity that can be useful for job creation and income in this province.

Referring to the lack of attention to the special situation of South Khorasan, Soltani said: South Khorasan has limitations in the field of water and this limitation will intensify in the coming years and we must move according to this limitation and change production and employment from agriculture to industry.

He pointed out that the attitude of provincial officials towards exports should be opportunity-oriented, he continued: South Khorasan can not be expected to compete with Iran’s developed provinces in the field of industry to meet domestic needs, but in Afghanistan can design this competition.

Soltani said that the way to save this less developed province is exports and added: the proximity of this province to Afghanistan is an opportunity that can be useful for job creation and earning income in this province.

The Vice President of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce should not be unaware of the tourism and medical opportunities of the province, he stated: In Khorasan Razavi, good measures have been taken in this regard and South Khorasan due to its proximity to the province of Afghanistan can take good measures in this regard.

In the private and public sectors, we have not designed the province’s economic activities based on the Afghan market, Soltani said. Afghanistan needs a lot of energy and no country is better than Iran and Turkmenistan to supply energy to this country. Be serious.

One of the places that can export to Afghanistan is South Khorasan, he said. The province’s customs should become a gateway, where we have made good progress in facilitating customs issues over the past year.

Seyed Nematullah Haghighi – Head of the Industry, Mining and Trade Organization of South Khorasan – also said: in the first seven months of this year, more than 96 million dollars were exported from the province’s customs, which has increased by 16 percent compared to the same period last year.

He added: in the discussion of exports to Afghanistan, of the total exports of Iran to this country, about 30% is related to South Khorasan.

The head of the Industry, Mining and Trade Organization of South Khorasan stated: Considering the potentials of Sanat province, it has not been formed and we must accept the fact that we have a problem in this sector.

Haghighi continued: In the incentives sector, we do not have a sector where we can attract investors to the province, and the long distance between the supply of raw materials and the consumer market is also problematic in this regard.

He pointed out that we should look at knowledge-based products, he reminded: the main part of the province’s mines are below the line of competitiveness due to the distance from the consumer market and is in the industrial development sector of the last province of Iran and half a percent We have the industrial share of Iran.

He reminded: he continued: to attract investors from outside the province and Iran, we must create cultural infrastructure in the province.

Haghighi pointed out that we have 38 types of minerals in the province, and specified: South Khorasan, with 10% of Iran’s area, has unique geological conditions.

He pointed out: we must develop the mines in such a way that the downstream part is also created in the province.
