The value of Iranian hand-woven carpet exports reached $ 314.8 million last year.

According to the latest Iranian customs statistics, in 2013, 5.1 thousand tons of carpets and other textile floor coverings were exported from wool or soft animal hair with an approximate value of 314.8 million dollars, which is 16.34 times more than in 1991 in terms of weight and Value shows a decline of 26.35%.

Last year, handmade carpets were the 21st non-oil export of the country. The average price per kilo of exported carpets reached $ 61.7 last year.

Germany, the UAE, Japan, Lebanon, Italy, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, Qatar, Switzerland and Sweden were the top 10 markets for Iranian hand-woven carpet exports last year.

Iran also exported about $ 51,000 worth of carpets to the United States last year.

In total, in 1392, Iran exported carpets to about 80 countries.
