Ismail Chamani stated: The formation of the Iranian carpet faction is one of the necessities that has been raised for several years to apply a single management and policy for the country’s carpet.
He emphasized: the National Carpet Center should be upgraded to the National Carpet Organization or at least a deputy in the ministry should be assigned to it.
He stated that now Iranian hand-woven carpets are so well known in the world that they do not need to be advertised and everyone knows Iranian hand-woven carpets, adding: We should provide them with easy-to-access banking facilities and eliminate administrative bureaucracy. Another important issue is that managers and officials in this sector should be aware of the current conditions of weavers and producers of handmade carpets.
