Molana tableau carpet texture in Kaboudrahang
The history of carpets is very ancient and has been of great interest to this valuable art since ancient times. Carpet weaving reached its peak in Iran during the Safavid period, Shah Tahmasb and Shah Abbas Kabir and enjoyed a very high value. This art has its own special and tasteful fans in the present era who create beautiful works.
One of these great artists is Habib Karamzadeh. He was born in Tabriz and now lives in Kaboudrahang. A role by Molana is the latest work created by this carpet weaver.
Explaining his work, Habib Karamzadeh said: I used special yarns for weaving this carpet due to observing the delicacies in the map.
He said that in the weaving of some tableau carpets, I used silver thread, adding: The tableau was woven with the role of the Kaaba, which was woven with 22-carat gold thread at its entrance, but due to financial problems, it has remained semi-functional.
The carpet weaver said about the design of the Molana carpet tableau: I am both a designer and a weaver. I inspired the Molana example painting with oil painting and completed it.
Karamzadeh continued by stating that it took 7 months to weave this work: in tableau, ordinary carpets are woven up to 70 rows, while in this tableau, 145 rows are woven.
I am not financially dependent on anything and I will cover all the expenses myself, but now I have decided to sell some of my works due to financial problems, said the tasteful weaver.
The head of the Department of Industry, Mines and Trade of Kaboudrahang city stated about the works of Habib Karamzadeh: This artist is not applying for facilities and works privately.
Morteza Afshari continued: We can not help a person who does not apply for help and facilities.
He also said about the applicants: if a person applies for a facility, he should be covered by the Department of Industry in order to receive an employment loan from the Development Fund.
He added: There are many carpet weavers in Kaboudrahang, but the only weaver who can do design is Habib Karamzadeh, who is also born in Tabriz.
Afshari said about holding a carpet exhibition: We are not able to hold such an exhibition alone, but interested artists can participate in the exhibitions that are held.
The head of the Department of Industry, Mines and Trade of Kaboudrahang city emphasized: The art and works of carpet weavers are very amazing and admirable and should be taken into consideration.
