Red gold is a product for job creation in Mahneshan

The director of Mahneshan Jihad-e-Keshavarzi said: more than 270 million Tomans are generated annually from saffron farms in this city.

Ali Ajmolo, stating that the area of saffron harvest (dry stigma) from their monthly farms is 17 hectares, said: The income of this red gold in the city is more than 270 million tomans, which is the income of monthly farmers.

He pointed out that the amount of saffron production per month is 45 kg, clarified: the cultivation of this product has already created employment for 35 people.

The director of Mahneshan Jihad-e-Keshavarzi stated: Due to the welcome of the residents and the suitability of planting medicinal plants, including saffron in Mahneshan city, producers need serious support from the government to introduce low-income facilities.

The official pointed out that 4 hectares of Mahonshan lands have been prepared for saffron planting, which needs the support of relevant officials, noting: At present, the amount of facilities for each hectare of saffron is 60 million Tomans, which will be provided to saffron growers in this city.
