In the first 4 months of this year, more than 82 million 579 thousand 305 dollars, equivalent to 20 thousand 886 tons of carpets, kilims and rugs have been exported to 57 countries.
Our country is the largest producer of carpets in the world and before the implementation of sanctions, it was the largest exporter of carpets in the world, while by 1397 more than 30% of Iran’s carpets were exported to the United States, but this figure reached zero in 1398.
Countries such as Canada, Australia, Germany, Japan, Italy, Kuwait, Kenya, Iraq, Pakistan, New Zealand, Bahrain, Belgium, Qatar, Thailand, China, France, UK, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Denmark, etc. from export destinations Carpets, rugs and rugs are Iranian, while Afghanistan with 18 million 7 thousand 497 dollars, Iraq with 17 million 406 thousand 55 dollars and Pakistan with 5 million 421 thousand 373 dollars are the main and most imports of Iranian carpets and have three main destinations. According to some informed experts, Japanese residents are very interested in our Gabbeh carpets and Gabbeh carpets made of animal motifs. They are woven with natural yarns and excellent qualities. They are in great demand in Japan, and the Japanese announced that the colors used in the carpets are in line with the system and taste of the Japanese people.
