A nutritionist from North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences, referring to the New Year and the high consumption of nuts during Nowruz, added: Peanuts reduce the incidence of diabetes in humans.

Nasrin Alizadeh attributed this to the presence of large amounts of unsaturated fats, magnesium and fiber.

He added: The presence of omega-3 fats in peanuts helps maintain cell health, soft skin and lower blood cholesterol.

Alizadeh continued: This fruit is a rich source of protein, iron, zinc, vitamins E and B, folic acid, potassium and niacin, which has an important effect in combating carcinogens.

According to Viral, the vitamins found in peanuts ensure the health of the skin, hair and muscles.

The potassium in this fruit regulates body water, prevents muscle cramps during strenuous exercise, opens blood vessels, and lowers the risk of heart attack, he said.

Regarding the properties of hazelnuts, he said: Hazelnuts are also rich in fiber, potassium, magnesium, vitamins E and selenium, which selenium prevents premature aging and tissue erosion.

According to a nutritionist at North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences, the vitamin E in this fruit is effective in the production of white and red blood cells.

Alizadeh explained that almonds have anti-cancer and antioxidant roles: This fruit has important micronutrients such as magnesium, potassium, copper, niacin and vitamin B12.

He considered this fruit effective in improving bone growth and preventing osteoporosis.

If people with high cholesterol consume 30 grams of almonds a day, they will reduce the amount of harmful cholesterol in their blood by up to four percent, he said.

Almonds will help people have healthy teeth, he said.
