Director of Delgan Agricultural Jihad said: Harvesting of sesame oil seeds started from 600 hectares of Delgan lands.
Sajjadi, stating that the harvest of this product will continue until the end of December, predicted that 600 tons of sesame will be harvested.
He added: the area under cultivation of this crop in this city has increased by 50 hectares compared to the same period last year, which is very economical for farmers.
The director of Delgan Agricultural Jihad pointed to the lack of processing industries in Delgan and said: brokers in other provinces buy Delgan sesame like henna and sour tea and after creating added value with the brand of other provinces, enter the consumer market.
The governor of Delgan also said: during the trip of Delgan managers to Yazd province, a memorandum was signed with product processing units, including sesame.
Shojaei added: The establishment of small workshops and large processing factories in Delgan is on the agenda of the private sector and government support.
