The director of Dehloran Agricultural Jihad said: the sesame harvesting operation started from the lands under cultivation of this crop in Dehloran.

Mohammad Reza Mirzaei stated: Sesame harvest has started in 150 hectares of agricultural lands of the city.

He said that it is expected that more than 100 tons of sesame will be harvested from this area under cultivation, adding: “Cultivation of this crop is welcomed by farmers due to its favorable rotation and at the same time it is a part of oilseeds with nut consumption.”

Mirzaei reminded: this year, compared to last year, the area under cultivation of this product increased in the city.

The director of Dehloran Agricultural Jihad said: the lack of conversion industries and the sale of this product in neighboring provinces is one of the most important problems of farmers in this field.
