With the production of 3000 tons the first place in Lorestan walnut production

The director of Selseleh agricultural jihad said: Selseleh is the first place in Lorestan walnut production.
Javad Ahmadpour stated: Selseleh city with the production of 3 thousand tons of walnuts is the first place in Lorestan province in the production of this product.
He added: Suitable climatic conditions and the interest of the people of the dynasty in walnut production have caused 2,380 hectares of the city’s land to be allocated to walnut orchards.
The director of the agricultural jihad of the dynasty stated: the existence of 23,800 walnut trees with an annual production of 3,000 tons has caused the dynasty to occupy the first place in the production of this product in Lorestan every year.
Ahmadpour reminded: Among the potential areas for walnut orchards, we can mention areas such as Kahman, Cheshmeh Ali Akbar and Henam. The suitable conditions of these areas have led to more and better production of this product.
The director of Jihad Keshavarzi Selseleh stated: In addition to irrigated lands, many interested farmers in Firoozabad district have planted this fruitful tree in rainfed lands and so far have had acceptable yields with the help of drip irrigation.
