Saffron and walnut are strategic plants of Iran
The head of the Iranian Biological Association called saffron and walnuts strategic plants in Iran and said: Issues related to plant stress should be more specialized.
Hassan Ebrahimzadeh, stating that stress is one of the important issues in plant stress, said: to relieve plant stress, strategic plants should be identified first and then their problems should be examined.
He pointed out that saffron is one of the strategic plants of Iran due to its economic values, and walnut is one of the strategic plants of Iran due to its many applications. He acknowledged that practical solutions should be provided to eliminate pests and stress in these plants.
The head of the Iranian Biological Association mentioned strain and coping as other problems of plants and added: These issues should be considered and new solutions should be provided to deal with them.
The director of the Plant Stress Center of the University of Isfahan also emphasized: research in this field should be more specialized.
Ali Akbar Ehsanpour said: Research on environmental tensions is a broad topic and researchers in other countries around the world are also paying attention to it.
He acknowledged that the research in this area is sparse, but said that coordination between research, avoiding repetitive topics and trying to steer research into new issues related to plant stress should be on the agenda.
Ehsanpourba, stating that stress in plants is a topic that is often ignored, said: In most studies, stress in plants has not been properly studied and good scientific results have not been presented in this field.
