Harvesting 85 tons of walnuts from the orchards of Fooman city
The director of Fooman Agricultural Jihad said: the walnut harvest in Fooman is nearing completion.
Mohammad Reza Ebrahimzadeh said: the walnut harvest in Fooman is nearing completion and so far 85 tons of walnuts have been harvested from Fooman orchards.
He added: Fooman city has 63 hectares of walnut orchards and walnuts of Fooman heights are of very good quality.
Ebrahimzadeh pointed out: Fooman city has 790 hectares of garden products including citrus fruits, kiwi, green tomatoes, figs, persimmons, tree berries, azaleas, etc.
He continued: this city has 13 thousand and 870 hectares of paddy lands, and now Ratun is being harvested in 3,200 hectares of Fooman paddy fields.
He added: Due to the weather conditions and reasonable prices of domestic rice in the ratoon breeding market, it was more welcomed by Fumani rice farmers than last year.
