Harvesting 1100 tons of walnuts from the gardens of Qom
The deputy director of crop production improvement of Qom Jihad Agricultural Organization said: 1,100 tons of walnuts were harvested from the orchards of this province.
Reza Vakil in this regard added: walnut crop was harvested in one thousand and 100 hectares of walnut orchards in the province with a yield of one thousand kilograms per unit area.
He stated: The hazelnut harvest was completed in about 275 hectares of orchards in Qom province with a yield of about one thousand kilos.
He stated: Canned olives have been harvested from 70 hectares of olive orchards and pistachio has been harvested from about 3,000 hectares of fertile pistachio orchards in the province.
