Exports of agricultural products in the first 10 months of this year reached one billion and 326 million dollars, which increased by 5.25 percent compared to the same period last year.
According to the public relations of Iran Customs, the weight of these products was 868 thousand tons, which shows an increase of 12% compared to the same period last year.
The average price of a ton of exported agricultural commodities during this period reached 1,523 dollars and 90 cents, an increase of 12 percent over the same period last year. The weight and value share of agricultural products in total non-oil exports in the first 10 months of this year was 1.5 and 3.18 percent, which compared to the same period last year in terms of weight by 0.7 percent and in terms of value by 5.1 percent.
Of the total agricultural exports in the first 10 months of this year, 5.61 percent was related to dried fruit exports.
During this period, 317 million and 562 thousand tons of dried fruits including almonds, pistachios, dates, raisins, seeds, dried fruits, and apricots and apricots worth 815 million and 500 thousand dollars were exported, which compared to the same period of the year. The past has increased by 5.1% in terms of weight and 8.34% in terms of value.
During this period, most of Iran’s dried fruits were exported to Hong Kong, UAE, Germany, Russia and Pakistan.
In the first 10 months of this year, 194 million and 162 thousand dollars of dried fruits to Hong Kong, 137 million and 336 thousand dollars to the United Arab Emirates, 99 million and 840 thousand dollars to Germany, 57 million and 276 thousand dollars to Russia and 21 million and 810 thousand dollars Exported to Pakistan.
The total weight of dried fruits exported to the five countries during this period was 139 million and 363 thousand tons and its value was 510 million and 374 thousand dollars. During the first 10 months of this year, 656 million and 246 thousand dollars of pistachios and pistachio kernels, 51 million and 945 thousand dollars of dates and 12 million and 812 thousand dollars of dried fruits were exported, which compared to the same period last year, respectively 42 , 58 and 14% increase.
During the same period, raisin exports decreased by 4.3% compared to the same period last year and reached 87 million and 530 thousand dollars. After pistachios and raisins, live cattle, saffron and bark and salami were the main export goods in the agricultural sector.
In the first 10 months of this year, 41,928 tons of live cattle worth 79 million and 168 thousand dollars were exported abroad, which shows a 5.5-fold increase in weight and 5.4 times in value compared to the same period last year. .
During this period, the export of leather and salambour also reached 65 million and 400 thousand dollars, which decreased by 2.6% compared to the same period last year. The weight of this export commodity was 17,281 tons, which indicates a decrease of 4.8 percent compared to the same period last year.
During this period, most of Iran’s exported leather and salami were sent to Italy, Turkey, Pakistan, Azerbaijan and India, respectively.
During this period, 161,400 tons of saffron worth 75 million and 907 thousand dollars were exported abroad, which compared to the same period last year increased by 6.9 percent in terms of weight and decreased by 6.6 percent in terms of value. Gives.
During this period, 6.84% of Iran’s saffron exports have been sent to five countries: United Arab Emirates, Spain, Saudi Arabia, India and Italy.
