More than 52% of the exports of agricultural products in the first two months of this year were allocated to pistachios and pistachio kernels.

According to the customs public relations, the total value of exports of agricultural products during this period increased by 7.28% and the value of pistachio and pistachio kernel exports increased by 5.49%; Also, the weight of agricultural exports was 217,700 tons, which has decreased by 2.6% compared to the previous year.
According to the report, the export price of each ton of agricultural goods during this period was 1,508 dollars, which shows a 37% increase. Agricultural products accounted for 9.4% by weight and 6.20% of the total value of non-oil exports.
After exporting pistachios and pistachio kernels, saffron with $ 6.14 million, skin and salamander with $ 13 million, raisins and its varieties with $ 4.10 million and intestines and varieties with $ 2.7 million The main exports were the agricultural sector.
The highest increase in exports in the agricultural sector was related to caviar and the highest decrease was allocated to chickpeas and legumes. During this period, caviar exports from the country increased by 121 percent and exports of chickpeas and legumes decreased by 44 percent.
