Pistachios and pistachio kernels rank first in the country’s non-oil exports
According to the statistics available in the first 9 months of 2003, the export of pistachios and pistachio kernels with $ 7.579 million has been ranked first among the major items of exports of non-oil goods.
The sum of major non-oil export items in the first 9 months has increased by about 55% of the total export value of these items in the first 9 months of 2003, compared to the same period of the previous year by about 3.29%.
More than 57.5% of the export value of the first 10 items was related to the industry and petrochemical sector.
According to this report, among the top 10 export items of the country, the highest increase in prices was related to aluminum made with 5.62 percent and the highest decrease in prices was related to iron and steel with 1.11 percent.
The largest decrease in the value of exports compared to the same period last year was related to iron and steel with 1.34 percent.
In contrast, the largest increase in the value of exports among the first 10 cultivars related to oil, Grace with an increase of 5.305 percent compared to the same period last year.
