Ardakan has 7000 hectares of pistachio orchards

Deputy of Jihad-e-Agriculture of Ardakan city said: pistachios in Ardakan are more than 300 years old.
Engineer Mostafa Mirabzadeh added: The area under pistachio cultivation in this city is 7,000 hectares, which includes 4,000 hectares of fertile pistachios and 3,000 hectares of seedlings, and 4,000 tons of crops are harvested annually from these farms during September and October.

He pointed out: 95% of Ardakan pistachios are consumed outside the city and the province and are not exported abroad.

In the end, Mirabzadeh stated that Ardakan pistachio is the first in Haer province, and reminded: the color and taste of this product is good, but it is small in size.
