Walnuts and sunflower seeds are rich in omega-3s
Researchers believe that in addition to fish, plants also have rich sources of omega-3s.
Researchers have concluded that plants such as walnuts and sunflower seeds are also rich in omega-3s, said the Tehran branch of the Medical Sciences website.
These fatty acids are able to reduce heart rate abnormalities, blood triglyceride levels, the risk of blood clots forming, the rate of hardening of the arteries, the risk of high blood pressure and the risk of skin and prostate cancer, and also reduce behavioral disorders in young people.
Researchers say the benefits of omega-3 fatty acids should be realistic.
