More than 1400 tons of pistachios are produced in this city of Khash

The director of Jihad-e-Agriculture of Khash city said: the pistachio harvest from the orchards of this city started in late August and is currently in its final stages.
Gholam Mohammad Bamri, added: the area of ​​pistachio cultivation in this city is three thousand hectares, of which one thousand and 600 hectares are fertile orchards and one thousand and 400 hectares are seedlings.
He pointed out: The average yield of pistachios is 900 kg per hectare, which accounts for the production of more than 1,400 tons of pistachios from 1,600 hectares of fertile orchards and is offered to the consumer market of Kerman province and Kerman province.
He mentioned different cultivars of Khash pistachio, Koleghoochi, Ouhadi, Badami and Akbari and said: The main centers of pistachio cultivation are in Goharkuh, Poshtkuh, Abkhan plain and upper and lower suburbs of Khash city.
