The exhibition of Master Morteza Bakhredi’s works of art was opened in the presence of a group of handicraft artists, ambassadors of foreign countries and those interested in traditional Iranian arts at the Mesnegar Gallery.
Engineer Morteza Bakhradi told reporters: Iranian handicrafts have always been abandoned and isolated, and worthless industries such as porcelain flowers, artificial flowers and decorative and non-original decorative works have replaced these industries.
He said: Compared to the world handicrafts markets, especially Asian countries, the cost of Iranian handicrafts is very high, while the government with the help and allocation of subsidies to artists can offer the capabilities of these artists in presenting works competitive with other countries and It is a good alternative in exporting non-oil industries.
He said: Unless the art of Iranian handicrafts is applied and serious attention is paid to artists in this field, we can not expect the continuation of this original art.
Bakhradi added: There should be officials in this field who are sympathetic to art and artists and understand their problems and appreciate this heritage. But unfortunately, we see that the organizations related to these industries are weakening day by day.
In the end, he emphasized: It is time to pay more attention to this art, because time does not pass in favor of our art at this time. Master Bakhredi’s works of art have already been exhibited in India, Venezuela, USA, Syria, and Pakistan for lovers of Iranian handicrafts.
