Production of 13000 tons of grapes in the center of Lorestan

The director of Khorramabad Agricultural Jihad announced the production of 13,000 tons of grapes in this city.
Murad Biranvand stated:
There are 940 hectares of vineyards in the city and recently 15 hectares of rainfed gardens of this fruit have been created.
We plan to increase the city’s rain-fed vineyards to 400 to 500 hectares by next year.
He said:
We predict to have 13,000 tons of grape production this year.
We have 6 grape cultivars that have started to be harvested and the rest will reach the harvest stage in the near future.
Biranvand stated that vineyards do not have a problem with irrigation, adding:
Grapes do not need much water and we are looking to promote it, which fortunately good measures have been taken.
Biranvand, stating that Kamalvand region is the center of grape production in the city, added:
Grape production is exported to neighboring cities and provinces and is economically viable.
