Grape harvest from 150 hectares of gardens in Ahvaz
The director of Ahwaz Agricultural Jihad said:
This year, 150 hectares of the province’s orchards have been allocated for grape cultivation,
which has increased by 20% compared to last year with the development of cultivation.
Abdolreza Nisi stated:
Grape harvest from the orchards of Ahvaz has started in the second half of June and is currently underway.
He added:
Grape harvest has started earlier in Ahvaz than other provinces and now Yaghouti, Askari, Soltani,
Bangi and Garshami cultivars are being harvested.
The director of Ahwaz Agricultural Jihad stated:
The production of grapes this year is of high quality because of the use of brain fertilizers
and modern irrigation systems and promotional and phytosanitary recommendations.
Nisi reminded:
It is predicted that 2,000 tons of grapes will be harvested from the orchards of Ahvaz this year.
