Profits from grape production in the vineyard go to brokers
A producer of Takestan grapes emphasized: The highest profit from grape production in Takestan city goes to brokers and intermediaries.
Ali Zolghadri, stating that the presence of intermediaries in the grape production sector can be felt from the time of fertilization, added: Producers are forced to buy the fertilizer they need from the open market and from brokers and intermediaries, and it is not clear how these fertilizers reach them and at several times the price.
Supplying fertilizer from the open market increases production costs for gardeners, he said. If the government provides at least more of the gardeners’ fertilizer needs, intermediaries in this sector will be shortened and production costs for gardeners will be reduced.
Referring to the presence of intermediaries and brokers in the market of fruit and vegetable markets, Zolghadr said: We bring our product directly into these markets, where the market owners, in return for selling our product and taking a percentage of the prices for themselves, end up giving us an amount that does not matter. It does not cover our costs, while the same product reaches the consumer at many times the purchase price from us.
This grape producer stated: The first-class white grapes of the producer are bought in the fields of 500 to 700 Tomans per kilo and the red grapes of the grape are bought in the fields of 800 to 1200 Tomans, of which a share is given in the field, while the same products in Tehran and Karaj markets It reaches the consumer at a price of about three thousand and 500, among which many profits go to brokers and intermediaries.
He pointed out that the production of each kilo of grapes in the vineyard costs 200 to 300 tomans for the producer, and specified: In the past few days, we sold the same product at a price of 470 tomans per kilo, which is 70 tomans of this amount for the field owner, while rent Shipping of this product is 50 to 200 Tomans and the price of the box is about 250 Tomans, which makes it quite clear that nothing will get in the way of the manufacturer, and in many cases we will only get our cost.
Zolghadri pointed out that the production of raisins for export is much more profitable for the producer than the sale of the product in the form of grapes, and said: If the government wants to help the grape growers effectively, it should create a raisin production factory to make the vineyard growers Enter the factory directly and receive first-class raisins for export. Also, the government can make more profit for the gardener by guaranteeing the export of acid, kalpuri (tall green raisins) and raisins for several years.
He added: In such circumstances, sometimes gardeners’ grapes that are not sold in fruit and vegetable markets are left on their hands and there is no buyer, in which case gardeners sometimes have to sell their produce at the lowest price.
He also stated about the method of scaffolding the vineyards of Takestan: At present, it is necessary to spend 10 million Tomans for scaffolding the vineyards, but the gardeners do not have such an amount and in this regard, the government should help the gardeners with its financial support.
This vineyard gardener continued: This year, in Takestan, without consulting the city council, free loans of 2 million and 700 thousand Tomans were given to gardeners for scaffolding vineyards. These people have good financial resources, while gardeners who are with The existence of quality product production does not have the financial resources that this loan should have been given to them.
