Reduction of 2,000 tons of grape harvest in Shahreza city
Referring to the end of grape harvest in this city, Morteza Kafi stated: Shahreza city with an area equivalent to 600 hectares of grape vineyards, annually produces 7,000 tons of grapes.
He said that Shahreza is ranked second in the province in the area under grape cultivation and harvesting, adding: This year, despite the drought conditions and facing areas of orchards with water stress, about 5,000 tons of grapes were harvested from orchards, about 50% of production Shahreza grapes include Asgari, Siah, Yaghouti and Rish Baba cultivars for fresh consumption.
The head of Shahreza Agricultural Jihad Plant Production Department stated that Shahreza grapes are exported to neighboring provinces in addition to the cities of the province. Exported to Central Asian countries.
In another part of his speech, referring to the disinfection of self-consuming seeds of wheat and barley to prevent black spot and brown spot of barley in Shahreza city, he acknowledged: Diseases of Wheat and Brown Spots of Wheat and Barley So far, 780 kg of seed disinfectant has been used by 390 tons of self-consuming seeds by Shahreza farmers.
