Sardoei, deputy director of plant production of the Jihad Agricultural Organization of Southern Kerman Province, said: Grape harvest has started from 1900 hectares of orchards in southern Kerman.

He added: Harvesting from 274 hectares of grapes in the south of Kerman is expected to harvest 1970 tons of grapes.

Grape harvest has started since the end of May, and 50% of it is a ruby ​​cultivar that is currently being harvested, and other cultivars will be harvested in late summer, Sardoei said.

He stated: 241 hectares of this area are fertile and 33 hectares are infertile.

Deputy Minister of Plant Production of Kerman Jihad Agricultural Organization said: The average production yield per hectare of vineyards in the region is about 8200 kg.

Grape harvest in the south of Kerman has started in late May and will continue until the end of summer.
